SSL certificate expiry monitor
Expired certificates take sites down just as surely as a crashed server. Get warned in time.

How it works
For every https:// monitor, Uptime Forever looks up the newest valid certificate for the hostname twice a day using public Certificate Transparency logs and emails you 14, 7 and 1 day before it expires. When the certificate is renewed, the warnings reset.
If a certificate is already broken (expired, wrong name), the regular check fails and you get a DOWN alert straight away.
Questions
Does it work with Let's Encrypt?
Yes. Let's Encrypt certificates last 90 days or less, so the warning is a good sign your auto-renewal has stopped working.
Is it really free?
Yes. 10 monitors checked every 5 minutes, email alerts, SSL expiry warnings and a public status page, with no card and no time limit. Pro is $5/month for 50 monitors checked every minute.
What counts as down?
A connection error, a timeout (10 seconds), an HTTP status of 400 or higher, or, for keyword monitors, the keyword missing (or present, if you choose). A failed check is retried a few seconds later before anything is reported, so a single blip doesn't page you.
Where do alerts go?
By email to your account address the moment a monitor goes down, and again when it comes back up with how long it was down. Pro adds up to 10 alert contacts.
